Chrysler has attended this year’s Roadkill Nights event in the U.S. with two nicely redesigned variants of its Pacifica minivan. Both the Factory and the VANkulture use the pricey-but-popular Pacifica Limited S trim as the starting point (see video).
The black Factory MPV rides on sportier suspension that shaves 25 millimeters (1 inch) off its ground clearance. It boasts 21-inch Geode wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero tires, custom decals all around the body, and black brake calipers. Interior modifications seemingly boil down to red safety belts.
As for the VANkulture, it’s a collaboration with the eponymous vendor of all kinds of van equipment. Pictured as a red van in the gallery above, this Pacifica wears a carbon-fiber body kit called VIS Racing. It consists of a front splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear spoiler, as well as a MagnaFlow exhaust system for extra style points.
Complementing the aero are 20-inch Vossen wheels, Rotora performance brakes, and Megan Racing suspension that can reduce the ground clearance by whopping 64 millimeters (2.5 inches) in its lowest position.
Chrysler hasn’t confirmed any production plans for either minivan, and the duo seen here are technically just concepts, so we wouldn’t bet on them ever reaching the market.
