Citroen together with the
company Rip Curl, specializing in the production of sportswear and accessories,
has developed a conceptual version of the van SpaceTourer. A capacious car,
literally, has turned into a house on wheels for surfers. It is ideal for tourist
trips to any distance.
Citroen SpaceTourer Rip Curl
was equipped with a special lifting roof, in order to stand in full in the car,
built-in shower door, two double beds, surfboard anchors and a kitchen with a
refrigerator, gas stove, sink and table. In addition, there is a safe for
documents located under the bottom of the van, its own weather station and a
sealed container for suits.
Under the hood of the
conceptual van is placed a diesel "engine" with a capacity of 150
horsepower, which is aggregated with a six-speed "mechanics". To all,
the camping car was equipped with the all-wheel drive system Automobiles Dangel
with a rear locking differential.
Citroen SpaceTourer Rip Curl
will present in the near future as part of a car dealership in Frankfurt,
Germany.
