Stellantis Group has announced the coming of the Europe-sold Citroen Ami to the United States, although the supermini two-seater EV will only be available in Washington DC via Free2Move subscription.
The service had already been offering the car on the same terms in Europe, whereas its U.S. vehicle pool had only contained Chevy Cruise and Equinox models until now. The company says the rent will set you back slightly under $350 per week, or $50 per day, one trip being limited to 500 miles (805 kilometers).
The Free2Move service is available in Washington DC, Paris, Madrid and Lisbon at this time, with Portland expected to enter the list soon.
