Citroen has made an official presentation of the facelifted full-electric 2018 E-Mehari off-roader. The car got improved performance and dynamics and may now be turned into a full-fledged off-road convertible thanks to the detachable roof and side windows.
Other notable features of the 2018 Citroen E-Mehari include better noise insulation, new seats and a redesigned fascia board. Central locking, tire pressure warning system, and automatic low/high beam switching will all be made available regardless of the trim level you choose.
Although the updated E-Mehari engine still only delivers 68 hp, its torque has improved from 140 Nm to 166 Nm. The car takes 7.3 seconds to accelerate 0-60 km/h (0-37 mph) and can go at 110 km/h (68 mph) at most. On a brighter note, it can travel up to 200 kilometers (125 miles) until it has to be recharged.
The new “convertible” modification of the crossover (the one with the removable roof) should soon be available for purchase starting at €20,700, whereas the regular version should cost €19,500 or more, depending on the trim level.
