French company Citroen showed images of C-Aircross concept car. The model is executed in a body of the crossover and officially debuts at Geneva auto show at the beginning of March, 2017.
C-Aircross show car's exterior reminds new generation of C3 hatchback with increased ground clearance. The concept is equipped with the Airbump panels for protection against dents at frivolous road accidents, and also rear doors, hinged against the course of movement. Citroen Aircross concept car was presented with the same doors in a year before last. Side rear-view mirrors are replaced with cameras, the ConnectedCAM camera which can send images to social networks is built in the case of a saloon mirror. The diagonal touch screen and the projective display are also available to the driver. Development of the interior is conducted within Citroen Advanced Comfort program, which was started last year, so the driver and passengers will be pleasantly surprised with soft seats with a special filling, which repeats a body shape of the sitting person.
The role of the car base is peformed by the modular EMP2 platform in the shortened version for class B+ cars. Dimensions of the conceptual version of the crossover are 4150x1740х1630 millimeters. It is possible, that the show car presented in Geneva will become a prototype of the successor Citroën C3 Picasso. The increased road gleam will become the main difference of a new model from Picasso, in addition.
