The French car manufacturer Citroen has launched the sales of its updated C4 SpaceTourer and Grand C4 SpaceTourer MPVs. These two models are supposed to eventually phase out the old C4 Picasso completely and can be purchased at €33,500 and above.
The main selling point of the new Citroen C4 SpaceTourer and Grand C4 SpaceTourer is the eight-speed automatic transmission which had come to replace the old six-speed manual gearbox. Both cars now weigh 2 kg (4.5 lbs.) less; more importantly, they should now consume 7 percent less fuel.
Both the Citroen C4 SpaceTourer and the Grand C4 SpaceTourer ship with the same 2.0-liter diesel engine capable of up to 160 horsepower (120 kW).
