Citroen My Ami becomes an improvised adventure car

The Citroen My Ami Buggy is a show car advertised as a vehicle for nature lovers and active leisure enthusiasts. Based on the standard Ami model, it may never reach the market like this, but will spawn a whole range of accessories that will later become available for the standard car.

The reimagined subcompact EV makes do without the roof and the doors, the latter replaced with soft pads you can kick open. To compensate, it gets robust-looking roll bars, a spare wheel mount on the roof, and wheels with a major offset shod in grippy off-road tires. The lights all around receive protective covers, and there is an extra LED bar on the roof shining on the road ahead.

The concept car uses three main finishes: black, yellow and khaki. The seats are new and feature double-thickness foam pads: 7 cm (2.7 inches) thick instead of 3.5 cm (1.35 inches).

The accessory list mentions video camera and phone holders, as well as assorted travel bags that you can tether safely to the inside of the car or detach and take with you when needed. The dash panel even has a dedicated slot for a Bluetooth speaker.
