Someone in China has come up with an original styling package for the Citroen C5 X. The car, which debuted a few years ago, was reimagined as a modern take on the Citroen CX from the late 1970s.
It is unclear whether the tuning kit will go on sale or remain a one-off job. All parts are installed in a non-intrusive way that keeps the body of the car stock. There are chrome aprons and skirts all around, and the same shine can be found on the side mirror caps. The arches are occupied by suitably retro-themed wheels, and the CX-style fender flares at the rear end are perhaps the most noticeable change.
To make the ground clearance resemble that of the classic car, the C5 X was given a suspension lowering module that can be used at any time to adjust the ride height in a wide range.
The interior ended up with new trim coming in various shades of grey and black, as well as brown and beige to keep things warm and vintage. Leather and Alcantara were the primary materials used.
