Auto marque Cupra has unveiled the most powerful production vehicle on its current lineup: the Formentor VZ5.
Along with a seven-speed DCT and permanent AWD, the special edition received a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine rated at 390 PS (385 hp / 287 kW) and 480 Nm (356 lb-ft) of torque. This enabled it to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds.
Buyers can also look forward to a new grey exterior paint, sport seats, low suspension, heavy-duty brakes, redesigned exhaust finishers, and a rear diffuser.
The company says it will only release 7,000 units, and will open pre-orders in late 2021. Prices remain to be announced.
