JE Design, a tuner based in Leingarten, Germany, has recently unveiled a widebody kit for Cupra’s premium SUV, the Formentor, and now follows up with many more accessories ranging from purely aesthetic to practical.
The body kit is called Street Race and consists of eight gloss-black elements, including a front spoiler, wheel arch extensions for both ends, and a two-piece roof spoiler. Unlike the widebody kit revealed before, this one can be installed without permanently modifying the car body.
Those who still want the flared fenders are invited to consider obtaining special JE Design Lucca wheels available in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches. There are only three finishes to choose from: Gloss Black, Copper, and Gloss Black + Polished Rim. As an alternative, customers can pick another set called Cádiz, which is only available in a copper finish.
Last but by no means least, the stock engine rated at 310 PS (306 hp / 228 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque also gets its share of attention. Once upgraded, it hits the wheels with 373 PS (368 hp / 274 kW) and 487 Nm (360 lb-ft). Other notable upgrades are a valve-controlled exhaust system and lowered suspension for a 30-50mm (1.2”-2”) reduction in ride height.
