The Cupra Leon hatchback and wagon are now obtainable not only with high-end engines, but also a 1.5-liter and a 2.0-liter engine rated at 150 and 190 PS (148 and 187 hp; 110 and 140 kW), respectively.
The new specs can already be ordered in Spain, the UK and some other European countries. The previous choices ranging from 204 to 310 PS (201 – 306 hp; 150 – 228 kW) are still present, of course.
The Seat Leon, which gave birth to this performance car lineup, no longer ships with powerful engines. If you want it with a petrol engine and no electrification, your options are limited to 110 – 130 PS (108 – 128 hp; 81 – 96 kW). The hybrid spec rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW), on the other hand, is available both with the Seat and with the Cupra badging.
