Seat announces 2 BEVs

The Spanish carmaker will be adding two new all-electric models to its lineup in the coming four years, including the previously revealed Cupra Tavascan SUV and a mysterious Seat-badged compact.

The Tavascan, which is featured in our gallery here, will become the second Cupra EV after the Born model slated to hit showroom floors in late 2021.

A small Seat EV should follow its example by mid-2020s, priced between €20,000 and €25,000. The company promises to reveal in the coming months where it intends to produce it.

Skoda and Volkswagen will then launch their own versions of the same compact, and rumor has it that Audi will join the list later as well. The Spanish marque should still benefit from a headway in this regard.
