Cupra’s new Terramar SUV is slated to debut next Tuesday, September 3, but you can have a look at this teaser pic in the meantime.
In fact, we already know what the soft-roader looks like thanks to a private corporate event that Cupra held two years ago (see video). We hear that the Terramar is actually a thoroughly redesigned Audi Q3 – it is even going into production at the same factory in Hungary where the Q3 is being made. For the engines, we will likely be choosing from petrol and plug-in hybrid options.
In earlier news, it was claimed that the Terramar would be Cupra’s last production car with an internal combustion engine under the hood. This doesn’t sound so certain now that the EV market is stagnating, though.
