Dacia unveils new logo, teases 2022 Duster facelift

After Renault announced a badge change due next year, its subordinate brand Dacia did the same. The new logo is very different from the current design and centers on mirrored letters C and D styled in a different font.

The video shows the letters C and D coming close and locking with each other like links of a chain. The new design direction also involves a palette shift towards green hues, which is understandable since Dacia now prioritizes eco-friendly solutions. Secondary colors include dark khaki, terracotta, sandy yellow, and vivid orange.

Dacia says it will implement its re-branding gradually, starting with the official website, promotion materials and brochures. Dealerships will follow suit early next year. As for the production cars, they will only switch to the new badge in the second half of 2022.

The news don’t there, though: a crossover SUV shows up just before the minute-long video cuts off. While we do not have the details, we believe it must be the Duster, because it is already overdue a facelift.
