Dacia introduced the Jogger crosswagon in the fall of 2021, offering it in five- and seven-seat flavors. Now, a Product VP of the Romanian brand let it slip in an interview that a new version was coming to the market with active leisure enthusiasts in mind.
Apparently, the company has not decided yet whether to offer the Jogger Camper as a standalone model or just an option pack for the current one. Whichever way it turns out, it will be a far cry from luxury-laden motorhome. We are most likely looking forward to a slide-out kitchen unit with a modest-sized fridge, a sink and a stovetop, plus a reasonably compact bed.
Campers are rather popular nowadays, and Dacia is far from being the only manufacturer to offer similar compact solutions. For example, Hyundai unveiled a similar modification of its Staria minivan just yesterday.
