Dacia Jogger gets its dose of electricity

While presenting the Jogger wagon, Dacia promised us to release a hybrid version of it – and here it is. More specifically, here are some pictures and specs, while the car itself will be shown at the Paris Motor Show next week.

Called the Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140, the novelty makes 140 PS (138 hp / 103 kW), surpassing the current top spec with its turbocharged three-cylinder engine and 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW). There is also an entry-level Jogger version that produces 101 PS (100 hp / 75 kW).

Dacia stays silent about the powertrain, but everything points to it being borrowed from the Renault Clio E-Tech. If so, it would mean a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder accompanied by a single electric motor.

Dealerships will begin taking orders for the Jogger Hybrid 140 in the beginning of 2023.
