This curious Datsun Z calls Canada its home and runs on a boosted Honda S2000 engine, getting 595 PS (587 hp / 438 kW) and 479 Nm (353 lb-ft) of torque at the rear wheels.
The engine used is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit revving up to a cool 9,000 RPM and equipped with a single Garrett G35-1050 turbocharger. There are numerous other performance components installed as well, including a wastegate. The six-speed manual transmission originates from the same Honda, while the titanium exhaust system is a custom job.
From the outside, you will recognize this Datsun by its 16-inch Watanabe wheels, Wilwood brakes and a blacked-out body with a matching cabin. Carbon-fiber bucket seats with Sabelt harnesses round things off on the inside.
Just to put things into perspective, the original Datsun 260Z is good for 140-165 U.S. horsepower in stock form, meaning this one packs up to four times the power. Not bad!
