Stellantis Mexico has shared multiple teasers of a new unnamed Dodge SUV. The camouflage and the dim lighting conceal much, but we have our informed suspicions regarding its origins.
By all indications, the car is a modification of the GAC GS5 soft-roader available in China. The Dodge depicted on the teasers seems to have a different radiator grille – a black trapezoid – but otherwise features identical headlights, taillights, and profile.
The launch date and the powertrain options remain to be announced. The GAC GS5 ships with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder partnered with a six-speed automatic transmission for 151 PS (149 hp / 111 kW) and 234 Nm (173 lb-ft) of torque.
