Some car enthusiasts are willing spends months finding automotive classics to rebuild and then toil day and night doing so, investing their own time and money into it. Mr. Boudreaux, from Montana, had intended to do the same with a Volkswagen Type 2, but got more than he bargained for.
His original plan was to locate a reasonably well-preserved VW Type 2 minibus and bring it back into good driving shape. He eventually found one, and the owners were even willing to let it go for a song – as long as it didn’t clutter their garage anymore.
Imagine his surprise when, having arrived at the spot, Boudreaux found a five-decade-old Dodge Tradesman motorhome, a far more exotic vehicle than he expected to see. He decided to take it anyway and had to haul it to a repair shop, because it didn’t start after multiple attempts. The Tradesman is shown with some surviving motorhome equipment inside, including a bed, a kitchen and some other furnishings.
We are excited to see this ancient camper brought back to life. Aren’t you?
