The car you see here is a 1954 Dodge M152 that was once serving in the military. Its current owner bought it in a rundown condition in Ontario for a token sum of $6,000 and paid another $3,000 to have it delivered to his home.
He then spent a year and a half restoring the truck and converting into a camper suitable for living away from civilization. It has now been four years since he finished the conversion and settled in. The Dodge proved a surprisingly accommodating vehicle for its small size and old age. The modern amenities on board are few and far between: the toilet is not included, and the shower can only be used outdoors.
The entire living space amounts to meager 4.45 square meters (48 square feet), but it is still enough for a large, comfortable bed with a storage compartment underneath. Found nearby is a kitchenette with a tabletop, a small kettle, a fridge and a few cooking appliances. The owner decided against installing any hanging cupboards because he wanted more natural light from windows, so most miscellaneous things are attached to the walls with the help of strong magnets.
