Dodge Returns to NASCAR Cup Series

Dodge will return to the NASCAR Cup Series next year, fielding a two-car team with Kaulig Racing. The manufacturer plans to announce its driver lineup for the upcoming season at Homestead-Miami Speedway during this weekend's NASCAR event.

This return marks Dodge's first participation in the Cup Series since the end of the 2012 season, when it won the championship. The brand's re-entry into the sport is part of its renewed focus on performance, led by Tim Kuniskis, head of SRT Performance and Direct Connection in the U.S. Stellantis previously entered the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this year and is now committing to a full factory-backed effort in the Cup Series with Dodge SRT Racing.

Dodge will compete alongside Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota, making its on-track debut in February during Speedweeks at the Daytona International Speedway. The company last competed in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2012, securing 217 victories since its initial entry into the Cup Series. During its most recent tenure from 2001 to 2012, Dodge won 57 races. Dodge will be the first new manufacturer to enter the Cup Series since Toyota in 2007.

Dodge plans to unveil its new racing car on December 4 at the 2026 Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Florida. John Probst, president of NASCAR Event Management, stated that welcoming Dodge back is a "proud moment" for NASCAR.
