Muscle car manufacturer Dodge offers a wide range of vehicles, making it hard for the uninitiated to decide which is stronger. For instance, the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 and the Charger SRT 392 both come equipped with the same engine, but their actual performance may very well be different. A drag race, perhaps?
The R/T Scat Pack is the cheapest Challenger model available. It usually ships with a 6.4L V8 rated at 485 hp (362 kW) and costs above U.S. $40,000.
The copy shown here features adaptive suspension set to Drag Mode, 41-spline half-shafts and a number of other drag racing options. The manufacturer claims the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack can finish the quarter-mile streak in 11.7s.
At U.S. $51,000 and above, the Charger SRT 392 is considerably more expensive. It comes equipped with the exact same kind of engine, but has more performance options. Among other things, it has powerful brakes, Bilstein adaptive suspension, Launch Control, Valet Mode and Shift Light Control.
