Check out this Dodge Challenger Hellcat wearing Vossen HC-3 wheels

Did you know you could order a wide-body version of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat straight from the factory? Well, you can. Throw in an extra U.S. $6,000 to have your copy fitted with wheel arch extensions and massive 20x11 inch wheels clad in broader 305/35 20” tires. The price includes installation and painting, and is therefore quite justified.

Of course, you could as well buy a regular Hellcat and have it customized with a body kit from Edge Customs, Clinched or Liberty Walk. However, that would probably void factory warranty for a number of units and components, so the “assembly line tuning” looks like a sensible – and more affordable – alternative in many cases.

The owner of this Dodge Challenger Hellcat must have argued like this at first, too. Still, as the time went by, he still felt like giving his dragster an extra bit of individuality. He ditched the factory rollers for a set of 21-inch Vossen HC-3 forged wheels sporting a dual finish. The Satin Black rims create a pleasant contrast against Light Smoke Transparent spokes, but the main highlight here comes in the form of a bright-yellow spoke pair echoed by the same-color stripes on the front spoiler and the rear quarter panels.

Rounding off the tuning project are Brembo brake calipers also painted yellow and moderately lowered suspension.
