Mopar, a car customization shop popular in the United States, celebrates its 10th anniversary modding FCA vehicles this year. To mark the milestone, the company will be launching a special edition of the Dodge Challenger in North America, complete with aesthetic and functional enhancements.
Each Mopar ’19 Dodge Challenger will be created based on an R/T Scat Pack-spec vehicle, which costs $40,245. Clients will be able to select either black or white body, which the company will adorn with a Mopar Shakedown livery and sporty-looking, contrasting pinstripes. Each example will also receive a powerdome hood with quick-release locks, a rear wing with the tuner’s logo on it, and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels.
The cabin will accommodate sport seats adorned with dual-tone Mopar emblems, Berber floor mats, polished kick plates, and a “Mopar ’19” logo on each air blower.
As we said above, the modifications are not purely visual. The chassis will receive a number of additional struts for rigidity, and the stock 6.4-liter V8 with its 492 hp (367 kW) will be upgradeable with a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission.
Each Mopar ’19 Dodge Challenger conversion will come priced at $45,835. A total of 90 vehicles will go on sale in the USA and 10 in Canada. Pre-ordering will open later in September.
