This Dodge Challenger boasts world’s broadest tires

A couple years ago, Mopar and Forgiato teamed up to produce a one-off Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with the widest possible wheels and tires. Let us review the project once again while the industry slows down due to Covid-19.

The muscle car flaunts enormous 24-inch, five-spoke rims wrapped in Pirelli tires 405 mm (16 inches!) wide. To put things into perspective, the iconic Bugatti Veyron is generally believed to be the worldwide leader in terms of production car tire width with its 365mm (14.25”) set.

On the outside, the Challenger wears a rather nondescript body kit, as well as a Metallic Silver paintjob with a subtle golden hue to it. The suspension is lowered, while the cabin and the drivetrain remain stock. Out personal highlight is the expanded wheel arches, a strict requirement for those 24-inch rims.

It looks like Mopar and Forgiato’s Challenger never made it into a video, but you may watch another one showing a Dodge Challenger sporting the same Forgiato set downsized to 22”x12”.
