This 1969 Charger Daytona is actually a modern Dodge Challenger in disguise

Back in 1969, Dodge produced a batch of 501 Charger Daytona muscle cars. The model quickly gained iconic status and currently fetches up to $1 million at auctions. No wonder tuners attempt to mimic it from time to time.

Depicted here is a 2013 Dodge Challenger wearing the so-called “Dodge Daytona-Plymouth Superbird Complete Kit”. Available from U.S.-based tuner shops 3rd Strike Performance and Heide Performance, it can be used to lend your Challenger a brand-new appearance. The Daytona look is extremely convincing and well-executed, with the modern Hellcat hood being one of the few details that stick out a bit.

The show car rides on custom-made 20-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear tires. The body is painted white, and there is a prominent crimson red accent on the enormous rear wing. The same color scheme extends to the leather-clad interior.
