This Challenger Hellcat Cabrio could be yours for $95k

With the Dodge Challenger surviving over a decade on the market with no tangible design or tech modifications, marque fans must have realized an open-top variant was not coming after all. So they went ahead and built one on their own.

The car loses its roof in favor of a folding soft top governed by electric motors. For the bulky and heavy muscle car to preserve its structural rigidity, it gains strengthening metal ties for the strut towers and the subframe. Just whether this is enough to compensate for the lost roof is an open question, of course, so careful driving is recommended in any case.

Fair Oaks Motors of Virginia, USA is selling this particular custom for $95,000. You may think is too much to ask for a Challenger, but consider that the Hellcat trim starts from $60,000, and this particular example has nearly $14,000 worth of factory options installed. Add the $20,000 automatic soft top – quite a normal price for this kind of bespoke aftermarket modification – and you will realize there is hardly any price bump at all.
