The American muscle car maker has now launched a reality show to elect a new Brand Ambassador with peerless donut-cooking abilities.
The winning candidate will receive a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and be tasked with drifting it like there’s no tomorrow, cooking up smoky donuts and 8’s. The dream job comes with an annual pay of $150,000 USD and a free set of uniform.
With a job description like this, there should be very little wonder why Dodge ended up buried under 173,500 applications. The company has now finally weeded out the subpar candidates and drawn up a list of just 10 best ones. These ten people will now participate in a reality show starring a couple of invited celebrities, and will undergo rigorous testing for the job.
The winner will be proclaimed on Tuesday, April 26. The date choice is not coincidental, because ‘4/26’ can be read as 426ci, the displacement volume of the legendary Hemi V8 engine famous in 1964–1971.
