North American tuner eXoMod Concepts has already graced the world with finely made Dodge Challenger retromods wearing all-carbon bodywork, but Black Velvet may be their most extensive AND expensive creation to date.
One such car takes around 1,500 hours to make, the company will have us know. Every last OEM body panel gets replaced with a custom one, resulting in a look inspired by the classic Charger coupes. Note that the donor car is the latest Challenger model, which gets “backdated” – i.e., styled to look older than it is.
The gorgeous body is complemented by 20-inch Forgeline rims shod in Nitto NT555 tires. The engine stays untouched, but the car should still be much faster than stock thanks to shedding 180 kilos (400 pounds) of weight.
The particular example depicted here is the only one in existence at the moment, but paying $325,000 or more will get you a copy. eXoMod will make as many units as there are buyers.
