Daytona-like Challenger can be yours if you can stomach the $0.4M asking price

U.S. tuning company Exomod has come out with an unusual offer: it will take the latest Dodge Challenger and dress it up to resemble the famous 1969 Charger Daytona coupe. The styling kit is made of carbon fiber and costs an eye-watering $395,000.

Each kit takes 2,000 hours to produce and install. The car gets stripped down to the naked frame and refitted with body panels, bumpers, wheel arches and a towering Daytona-style rear wing. The show car in the gallery below wears a pearlescent red shade, but you can specify your own option.

Aside from that, every retromod comes with a custom exhaust system, LED lighting all around and a two-tone leather trim in the cabin. The engine bay makes do with purely decorative carbon trim, while the power stays stock. On the upside, Exomod does install six-piston Brembo calipers and replace the stock wheels with Forgeline DE3C rims shod in Nitto NT555 tires.
