The U.S.-based manufacturer Smyth Kit Cars has a conversion kit called Ute, which you can use to turn your Dodge Charger sedan into a practicable pickup truck. If you would like to get the truck and save yourself the hassle associated with the conversion, consider this 2008 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi Ute that costs U.S. $15,500.
The vehicle comes wrapped in satin-blue film and has an aftermarket front spoiler, taillights borrowed from a Dodge Grand Caravan, a Chevrolet Colorado rear window, and a Ford trunk lid. Despite all this, the 2008 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi Ute looks pretty well built.
The pickup truck rides on a set of 20-inch Hellcat rollers with a glossy black finish and sports a lowered ride height (-50 mm / -2 in).
The aluminum truck bed spans 1.8 meters (6 ft.) long and can carry up to 400 kilograms (900 lb.) of cargo, which isn’t bad at all for a converted sedan.
