Dodge unveils sports upgrades for the Charger Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat

A few days ago, Dodge teased us with the images of a Charger Scat Pack and an SRT Hellcat wearing fancy styling upgrades. Today, the both packages have been revealed officially.

The optional Widebody kit for the Scat Pack includes fender flares, new 20-inch wheels wrapped in special tires, performance brakes, and uniquely tuned suspension. The company says the kit is standard for the Hellcat.

Lift the hood cover to reveal a 6.4-liter V8 engine rated at 485 horsepower, or 362 kilowatts. Partnered with an eight-speed automatic transmission sending the power to the rear wheels, the engine accelerates the muscle car 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.3 seconds.

In turn, the Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody comes equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 capable of 717 hp (535 kW) and 881 Nm (650 lbĂ—ft) of torque. It only needs 3.6 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at 315 km/h (196 mph). The company calls it the fastest and most powerful mass-produced sedan/saloon in the world.

Both sports cars now also benefit from certain racing-grade tech features. These include an intercooler pump, wheel RPM control, and power-assisted steering with four selectable modes.
