Dodge Charger R/T pickup truck conversion almost gone for $13,200

Marrying a muscle car with a truck bed could seem like an insane idea, but Smyth Performance did an outstanding job with this 2006 Dodge Charger R/T.

The car has around 111,000 kilometers (68,600 miles) on the odo and only received the bed last year. The tuner outfitted it with custom GFRP quarter panels, a stainless-steel tailgate, and an aluminum box for the cargo platform. The rear glass originates from a Chevy Silverado and the brake lights from a Dodge Caravan. New 20-inch wheels look especially sporty in their arches thanks to shortened Eibach springs and Koni shock absorbers.

Lift the hood to discover a stock 5.7-liter Hemi V8 sending up to 345 PS (340 hp / 254 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheels through a five-speed A/T.

Listed on Cars & Bids, the auction lot closes in a few hours, and the bidding has only reached a petty sum of $13,200 so far.
