Hennessey to say farewell to the ICE Charger & Challenger with a 1,000-hp special

Hennessey Performance has announced the final batch of tuned Dodge Charger and Challenger. The company will upgrade 50 units of each with a package called ‘H1000 Last Stand’, boosting the engine output to 1,014 PS (1,000 hp / 746 kW).

All muscle cars produced in 2021 or newer are accepted for the conversion. Once the supercharger, the fuel injectors and a number of intake and exhaust components are replaced, the wheel will get hit with up to 1,285 Nm (948 lb-ft) of torque. Tuned like this, both cars will be able to sprint 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and finish their quarter-mile run in 9.9 seconds.

The exterior changes are relatively minor. There is a slightly enlarged front splitter, a rear spoiler, side sill extensions and a diffuser, as well as assorted decals throughout the body, but that’s about it. The wheels can be optionally replaced with a 20-inch, Y-spoke custom set finished in either black or dark grey.

All pricing details are pending, but we’d rush to make a pre-order as soon as possible given the popularity of both cars.
