Dodge has revealed the first teaser image of its refreshed Charger SRT Hellcat sedan. It looks like the front part of the car has been considerably reworked.
The photo is essentially a close-up of the new air intake, which has moved closer to headlights. The radiator grille appears mostly untouched, but the lower air intake seems to have lost in volume in comparison to that of the current-generation Charger SRT Hellcat.
Company designers claim that the new front body accents should lend the sedan an even more aggressive appearance. We won’t know until later, though, and nothing is being revealed about the performance of the updated car right now.
The current-generation vehicle comes with an eight-cylinder engine more than six liters large. Capable of 717 hp (535 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb·ft) of torque, it bolts from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds and achieves its peak acceleration at 330 km/h (205 mph).
