U.S. armored car manufacturer Armormax has introduced a special version of the Dodge Charger Hellcat, which can withstand 7.62-caliber gunfire and grenade blasts. The vehicle will be used by the police forces.
The car comes equipped with a light bar, a push bar, bulletproof windows and protective plating applied to the radiator, fuel tank, engine, battery and engine control unit.
Available paid options include intercom and protection from gases.
The car ships with a stock 6.2L engine with 717 hp (535 kW), AWD and heavy-duty chassis.
The mass-issue Dodge Charger Hellcat can accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.7 seconds. Just how fast is its armored counterpart remains unknown.
