The last copy of Dodge Challenger SRT Demon to go under the hammer

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has finished assembling the last of 3,300 vehicles in the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon performance coupe series. This final car will get a unique lacquering and go up for auction in June.

The series normally ships in black, but this particular vehicle will sport an exclusive shade of red.

The muscle car series debuted in spring 2017. Each one came equipped with a humongous six-liter turbocharger V8 engine capable of 850 hp (634 kW) and 1,044 Nm (770 lb·ft) of torque. Driven by a monster like this, the car accelerated 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) in trifling 2.1 seconds and can ultimately get past 330 km/h (205 mph).

Along with the unique Challenger SRT Demon, Dodge will also be selling the last Viper with the same red lacquering. Actually, both cars will initially be offered in the same auction lot. The starting price remains undisclosed so far, but the manufacturer claims the money earned will go to charity.
