Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles will be stopping the production of its Dodge Grand Caravan MPV in May.
Interestingly enough, the Grand Caravan is Dodge’s single most popular model in the USA with over 122,000 units sold in 2019 alone. Nevertheless, the manufacturer seems determined to free up the market space for its more up-to-date vans, like the Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager, and reduce the staff by 1,500 people.
The departure of the Caravan leaves Dodge with only four models on its U.S. lineup: Journey, Durango, Charger, and Challenger.
