Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition proves it remembers its roots

The great-grandfather of all pickup trucks – the Dodge Power Wagon – debuted back in 1945 as a reliable and off-road-capable vehicle that was easy to maintain. Today’s limited-run Ram celebrates 75 years of the iconic model.

The Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition sports bi-color wheels sized 17 inches across with beadlock protection, 33-inch tires, special running boards, a Warn Zeon-12 winch, a vertical rib grille instead of the usual mesh grille, black headlight bezels, a grey RAM logo instead of silver, Diamond Black graphic details, and commemorative plaques. CBuyers are free to choose from 11 available body paints, including two previously unavailable ones, as well as a few dual-tone paint schemes.

The cabin greets with Mountain Brown leather, Piano Black Silverline accents, Power Wagon 75-branded seats,  other special logos and black inlays. There is also a Harman Kardon audio system and a 12-inch touch-enabled display that you can use for displaying information relevant to off-road driving.

The car still comes powered by its 6.4-liter Hemi V8 rated at 415 PS (409 hp / 305 kW) and 581 Nm (429 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends the momentum to all four wheels. Raised suspension, electronic transfer case, differential locks and a 360-degree view system are all listed under standard features.

Sales will begin later this year starting from U.S. $66,945. The standard Ram truck costs $55,245.
