The new 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck is lighter, roomier and more practical than its predecessor. Too bad it still comes driven by the same old 5.7-liter V8 engine rated at 401 hp (299 kW) and 555 Nm (409 lb×ft) of torque. Granted, many will find this kind of performance sufficient, but some will want more.
It is for these people that tuner O.CT TUNING has launched a dedicated power kit earlier today. Two main highlights of the package are an in-house designed supercharger and a new ECU chip.
Once upgraded, the pickup truck rises to 480 hp (358 kW) and 660 Nm (487 lb×ft) of torque. Its top going speed rises from 175 to 195 km/h (109 to 121 mph). If you really want even more than that, 200+ km/h or 125+ mph is possible upon request.
Overall, the car represents a much better value with the upgrade installed, don’t you think?
