Mopar takes on a 1968 Dodge D200 for this year’s SEMA

Renowned car customizer Mopar will be coming to this year’s SEMA show in Las-Vegas with a 1968 Dodge D200 pickup truck restomod.

The car gains more wheelbase in its second incarnation, as well as air suspension and a lifting hood cover providing an unobstructed view onto the 5.9-liter Cummins diesel engine sitting beneath.

It also boasts the lifted truck bed of the modern Ram 1500, 22-inch retro-style wheels, fender flares, LED lights, a leather-wrapped cabin, an originally styled steering wheel, and a Mopar dashboard.

According to the tuner, classical pickup trucks are currently enjoying the zenith of popularity. If true, we will likely be seeing similar projects from other companies when the SEMA starts in a few days.
