Tuned RAM 1500 pickup grows fatter and squats all day

The Dodge RAM 1500 is quite a big guy even standing next to its American buddies, let alone teensy European trucks. But as you surely can imagine, there are always drives out there to whom the concept of “large enough” does not come easily.

The owner of this specific example fitted it with Clinched wheel arch extenders. More specifically, the bolt-on model is called “NewSchoolXL Universal Fender Flares”. Each fender widens the body by 70mm (2.73”) on the side it is installed, resulting in the truck that’s 2.1 meters (81.5 inches, or 6.85 feet) wide!

The fenders alone were not enough, so the owner additionally bought a ventilated hood, a robust-looking front spoiler, a rear diffuser, a tailgate lip, and a slew of smaller body kit parts painted to match the body. OEM wheels yielded their wells to giant 24-inch Hellcat-style rims, performance brakes were installed, and the suspension was dropped about as far as it would go.

The engine was let alone, while the cabin reportedly received a plethora of mods, including carbon fiber accents and a Rolls-Royce-like “Starry Sky” ceiling. Unfortunately, we do not have any cabin pics to show you.
