Dodge RAM 2500HD goes wild in an acid-green suit

The SEMA tuning show closed its doors more than two weeks ago, but we are continuing rummaging through the highlights to share with you. One of these is the AEV Prospector XL 2020, a souped-up truck with the Dodge RAM 2500HD core.

Made by American Expedition Vehicles, the acid-green show car sports a metallic front apron, a bullt bar, a winch, bottom protection, and numerous auxiliary LED headlights. The AEV Katla wheels come wrapped in humongous 40-inch Toyo M/T Offroad Super Swamper tires, and the wheel arches are considerably larger than stock. More importantly, they boast a seamless design, rather than the bolt-on approach found in most other similar projects.

The pickup rides 3 inches (almost 80 mm) higher thanks to new springs and Bilstein 8100 shocks.

As far as we are aware, no modifications were made in the cabin or under the hood. AEV says the same range of options fits the 3500HD as well.
