Here’s a Dodge Ram that traveled 3 mi/year on average

A white 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 just found a new owner at an auction, who paid $76,000 USD for the truck with 111 km (69 miles) under its belt.

The pickup is a Double Cab version with two seat rows, but the extra space inside makes it closer to 2+2 cars than 2+3 ones. It sports a body-matching front bumper with integrated anti-fog lights and chromed running boards.

An inline-six diesel engine has 5.9 liters of displacement and churns out 245 PS (242 hp / 180 kW) to a manual transmission, which is relatively rare in this model. A reduction gear, a limited-slip differential and AWD system help it stay on track anywhere.

The trim level is not bad and not great, either: included are an AC, a cassette player, cruise control, velour seats, power adjustments, ABS and a couple of airbags. 16-inch wheels come wrapped in 315/75 off-road tires.
