A video which tells the complete story of the legendary Dodge Viper supercar has recently been uploaded to YouTube. The six-minute long footage manages to cover the lifespan of the famous vehicle from its birth in 1992 until 2017.
The original Dodge Viper has been produced between 1992 and 1995 with the model designation of ‘Phase SR I’. It came equipped with an 8.0-liter V10 engine capable of 405 hp (302 kW). Driven by such a potent motor, the vehicle accelerated 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in mere 4.7 seconds.
Another generation came out in 1996 with a 421-horsepower (314 kW) engine on board. A small batch of hi-end Dodge Viper GTS was also released with 450 hp (336 kW) at its disposal.
The latest generation of Dodge Viper vehicles has been produced between 2012 and 2017 with naturally-aspirated 8.4-liter V10 engines good for 654 hp (488 kW) and 814 Nm (600 lb·ft) of torque.
