Unique Dodge Viper pimped out by McLaren goes up on sale

A sales ad has recently been published on a U.S. online marketplace concerning a unique Dodge Viper vehicle customized by McLaren Performance Technologies. Its current owner wants U.S. $295,000 out of the deal.

The car debuted at the 2006 Detroit International Motor Show under the name of ASC Diamondback Viper. It has only traveled 120 kilometers (75 miles) in its entire lifetime.

Compared to the main Dodge Viper series, the one-of-a-kind vehicle features 19-inch forged wheels, lowered suspension, a stainless-steel exhaust system and an original body lacquering made up from various white, blue and orange hues.

The hood cover of the vehicle conceals a manual transmission and a monstrous 8.3-liter, ten-cylinder engine capable of producing north of 600 hp (450+ kW). McLaren engineers have retrofitted it with an advanced injection system comprised of 10 throttle plates.

Among other things, the ASC Diamondback Viper has a number of carbon parts, including the front and rear spoilers, air intakes, roof and hood cover.
