Dongfeng Fengxing T5 Evo debuts in Guangzhou

Dongfeng has unveiled the Fengxing T5 Evo, a crossover SUV that clearly aspires to look like a Porsche and a Maserati at once. First cars will hit dealerships next spring.

Powering the T5 Evo is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-pot rated at 192 PS (189 hp / 141 kW) and 285 Nm (210 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a seven-speed DCT. Electrified and all-electric variants may emerge later, but it has not been made official yet.

Inside, the digital dashboard and the infotainment system are represented as a single unit, both screens measuring 10.25 inches across. There are carbon fiber inserts throughout and air vents shaped like turbines (looks copied from an Audi or Mercedes).

Features include OTA updates, voice recognition, Level 2 autopilot, 360-degree view cameras, panoramic sunroof, and more.
