The Dongfeng Warrior M20, a massive SUV rumored to be China’s response to the classic Hummer model born in the USA, has been spotted outside with barely any disguise on.
Earlier rumors said the off-roader would be fully electric, but CarNewsChina contradicts them, claiming that there is a large-displacement diesel engine under the hood. It also mentions the approximate body dimensions of the SUV – 5.5 meters (18 feet) long, 2.1 meters (7.9 feet) wide and just as tall. If true, that would mean the newcomer falls a bit short of its own pickup truck version.
Speaking of which, the Dongfeng Warrior truck utilizes a 6.7-liter inline-8 diesel engine to drive the wheels with 314 PS (310 hp / 231 kW) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. It would be easy to imagine the SUV with the same drivetrain, but the output might as well prove different.
