Watch a 1,200-HP Drako GTE show off its all-electric chops on an ice lake

Drako Motors, a budding automaker from the Silicon Valley, has shared two videos showing its GTE electric sedan driven on naked ice and a snowed-under highway.

The supercar has four motorized wheels driven by 225 kW each, as well as an electronic system that coordinates their movement and applies torque on a per-wheel basis.

According to Drako Motors, the car’s cornering is exceptionally fast and precise on all types of surfaces, with special presets provided for racetrack, highway, snow, ice, sleet and wet roads. The driver can also switch between five powertrain modes.

The total power roughly amounts to 1,200 hp (900 kW), while the torque reaches as high as 8,800 Nm (6,500 lb-ft). The top speed will exceed 330 km/h (205 miles per hour). A total of 25 units will be produced priced from U.S. $1,250,000 each.
