DS Automobiles will officially reveal its No. 4 hatchback model today, February 3, at 13:00 UTC. Highlights include SAE Level 2 autonomy, hybrid power, night vision, and a gesture-operated infotainment system.
The DS 4 utilizes the EMP2 architecture and contains plenty of carbon fiber parts. The top trim will ship with a part-electric powertrain incorporating a turbo four-pot rated at 180 PS (178 hp / 132 kW) and an electric motor good for 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW). The all-electric range will amount to 50 kilometers (31 miles).
The infotainment system will be able to recognize hand gestures within a limited distance from the screen, and the company promises us a HUD with Augmented Reality support.
